Established in 1987, Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth has emerged as a leading educational institution in Maharashtra, dedicated to excellence in health sciences education, research, and patient care.
Located in the vibrant city of Pune, our institution spans over 150 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure including teaching hospitals, research laboratories, libraries, and residential facilities. We are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Our Journey
1987 - Foundation
Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth was established with the vision of providing quality medical education to students in Maharashtra. The first medical college was inaugurated with 100 students.
1995 - Dental College Addition
The Dental College was established, offering BDS and MDS programs with modern dental facilities and experienced faculty members.
2002 - Nursing Program Launch
School of Nursing was started with B.Sc Nursing program, later expanding to include M.Sc Nursing and post-basic specialization programs.
2008 - Biotechnology Department
Department of Biotechnology was established, offering integrated B.Sc+M.Sc programs and doctoral research opportunities.
2015 - Hospital Expansion
The teaching hospital expanded to 1500 beds with advanced medical facilities, trauma center, and specialized ICUs.
2020 - NAAC 'A' Grade Accreditation
Achieved 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC, recognizing excellence in education, infrastructure, and research output.
